Why Your Annoying Pop-Ups Are Ignored
It is true, there is a great deal on the net about internet marketing, but we have found it to be scattered all over the place. But we have observed that not all of it can be useful, it just depends on your particular needs.
You can find decent sites to read that you can rely on, however not everything you need is necessarily in one place. There is always much more you can find and use that will be very helpful to you. The net is huge, indeed, and it can be really irritating if you cannot quite nail down the last pieces of the puzzle. We have found the following about internet marketing, and we want to improve on it and give some added clarity.
Let’s imagine that you have decided to find out more on something so you do a search online. You then select one of several results that Google provides and click on it. Then, once the internet page finishes loading, surprise! Instead of viewing the page that is purported to have the content you need, you are forced to deal with a pop up. The pop up is an irritating advertisement and no matter how many times you try to close it, it won’t go away – unless you give it your e-mail address. Finally you just close your browser once and for all because you are so annoyed. That site owner’s techniques haven’t gotten the best of you!
So many people really really can’t stand pop ups and they have a acceptable reason to feel that way. They tend to be seriously infuriating. They tend to be intrusive. The kinds that play noise might find yourself getting you in trouble with your boss (or someone else in the room). They make outrageous claims. They require that you type in private information into them if you want them to close. Some even place malware and cookies within your computer systems. There aren’t a whole lot of folks who actually like to be confronted by these annoying things but so many IMers insist on using them. Why?
The sad and basic truth is that Internet Marketers use pop up ads because they work. They get the viewers focus. They allow them to build e-mail marketing lists. It is proven over and over again that a pop up ad will yield more opt-ins than an opt in box placed in a sidebar or in the body of a web page. They have sometimes been known to help make sales. Unfortunately, these silly web pests really get the job done and, until someone thinks of something better, most IMers are going to keep using them. In fact many business owners have found these email lists to be great for endorsing their products.
Of course, that doesn’t imply that most Entrepreneurs should continue to use them. What is the actual value of an e-mail address that you have only obtained through force? Usually what happens is that the person merely chooses to immediately opt out of your list as soon as they get the first e-mail from you. Can your traffic be of high quality when most of it clicks out of your website because they are offended by the pop ups assaulting them? Of course you want to earn a living but really–is that the only way to do it? Couldn’t there be another solution available to those who want to develop an e-mail list and sell things?
The genuine truth is this: if you have a good product and you can present it in a good light, you won’t need to use a pop up. Concentrate first on setting up a quality product so that you won’t have to rely on an annoying pop up to get the job done for you. Compose a persuasive sales page or splash page. Catch the reader’s attention and then refuse to give it back through the power of your subject material and copy. The simple truth is that Internet Marketers only find success and online earnings when they make products that others are going to find valuable. No pop up ad will ever have the capacity to replace the true value of a product.
In mere seconds you can uncover a few possibly shocking pieces of information concerning internet marketing that we think you will really like. Research is time intensive and hard, but we think we have found the very best as you will soon discover. It is just that people make honest slipups because they are misinformed, but we can help you avoid that pitfall, altogether.
