Why The Best Blog Content Secretly Irritates, Offends And Even Enrages People

Why The Best Blog Content Secretly Irritates, Offends And Even Enrages PeopleWe, as people are all about emotions and feelings.

It’s interesting, but whatever we do is based on a feeling that we want to experience as a result of taking that action.

I mean, just think about this for a second.

Do you want to make money blogging because you just want to have the cash?

Of course not, you strive to earn dough online because you know that it’ll give you the freedom to be able to do whatever you want to do.

On the same note, do you think people buy luxurious cars because they do so much of a better job at getting them from point A to point B?

No way!

They want to have a fancy car because they want the feeling of power and prestige that comes with that car.

Lastly, do you think people buy stuff because they actually need it?

No they don’t.

What drives them to get things is that they want something, and then they justify that emotional desire with logic.

This is all human nature 101, but how does it help you become a great blogger?

It’s very easy.

When you write, you have to make sure that you focus on getting your readers to feel something.

Elite Men™ Organic Bath & Body

It doesn’t even matter what it is, really, as long as your content is not dry and you do what you can to get an emotional response from whoever is reading it.

That’s why the best blogs out there are shocking. That’s why the best blogs out there are irritating and offensive. That’s why the best blogs out there are not politically correct.

The people behind them want you to feel something when you read what they have to say.

They want you to leave happy, sad, mad, raging. Doesn’t matter as long as you feel something.

How do you get your readers to be emotionally involved when they read your posts?

Again, very simple, although it does require a certain amount of work.

What needs to happen is you have to understand your target audience and know what their hot buttons are.

You have to have a sense of what makes them to feel something inside, and then use that knowledge to lead their emotions.

See what I mean?

Don’t worry if it sounds a little complicated. It really isn’t.

Just take a look at places where your readers hang out, see what they talk about and notice what makes them tick.

Just keep in mind, as you do that, that they’ll use words and phrases that will be charged with feeling whenever they have an emotional response to something.

Words like: mad, frustrated, happy, joyful, excited, angry, etc.

Just think about yourself and how you react when someone makes you feel a certain way. Are there specific things you do or say? I am sure there are, you just have to pay attention to them.

Once you pin point them, just look for similar words and phrases on blogs and in forums.

That’s it. Easy as pie.

    Hello “BadBlogger”

Great article! I’ve read many articles defining bad content/blogs with a closing mention of focusing on good content – you offer a refreshing view of how to write good content … the emotions that can fuel good content.

I know with myself, I’m drawn to writers that make me think, writers that can take a simple subject and give it life, meaning.

Even if it’s a subject that I’m not particularly keen on, if it is written with passion, with conviction, I am drawn in and, usually, find myself developing interest.

I enjoy your writing style and look forward to more submissions here!

I mean I saw the title and got curious, click it open and start reading, and the content start to get me into emotional state by telling certain truth that is actually happening and slowly putting me into the trust of why and how and all sort of stories being told…
Anyway, thanks for reading and liking my content… talk soon…

    Bad Blogger,
You are quite right! Any content that pushes the buttons of people elicits response from them. When a strong opinion is expressed, it begets an equally vocal response – both for and against.

Also when some piece of content is shocking and offensive, people get curious just to see WHAT in the content is shocking and offensive – similar to rubbernecking at the freeways.
