Call for Sponsors and Participants:

Sponsors are needed to help turn this year’s contest into one that will be both beneficial and fun for readers, participants and sponsors.

Sponsors will get an opportunity to gain links on WBB as well as ALL of the participants’ blogs. That’s a huge amount of backlink and traffic building potential!

As far as sponsorship levels go, there are two levels: Verified WBB Newsletter Subscribers can sponsor for a minimum of $25, all others for a minimum of $50.

So far, some great people have already come on board, so you’d be in good company should you decide to sponsor.

Become a Contestant:

I realize there are lots of guest blogging contests going on right now. So what makes this one any different?

Nothing!

There will still be great cash prizes and an amazing opportunity to get more exposure, links, and traffic to your blog. But there won’t be any topic restrictions as long as you write engaging, unique content about blogging related subjects (take a look at my current categories), your posts will be welcomed.

I haven’t even announced this on my blog yet, and only a few people know about this upcoming guest posting contest. So you’re getting exclusive news here and an opportunity to get a head start on writing your posts.

I will begin accepting submissions on April 4, 2011 – that’s when I’ll be posting the official contest announcement on WeBlogBetter.com, but the contest is not officially set to begin until May 1 (that’s when the first guest post will be published) and will continue until May 31 (which is also the last day to submit an entry).

The contest will be scored based on how well the contestants can promote their posts. Points will be given for RTs, comments, FB shares, incoming links and BlogInteract.com votes.

Guidelines:

All posts must be original. No previously published, duplicate content will be allowed. Violations will be cause for disqualification.

All posts must relate to the blogging tips niche: that includes social media tips, writing tips, business blogging, monetization, traffic building, etc. (see WBB categories)

You must register for a username and password to submit your post for review (you may submit multiple posts to increase your chances of winning).

Submit your post any time between now and May 31, 2011, 11:59pm EST. (Winners will be announced approximately one week after all guest posts have been published).

Write a post on your own blog that announces this contest and that includes links to all the sponsors (stay tuned for an updated sponsor list that will be posted on WBB). Contestants who fail to write this post and link to sponsors will also be disqualified.

Promote your post the best way you know how.

Join BlogInteract.com if you haven’t already and submit your post for votes.

Prizes:

As I mentioned at the beginning, there will be cash prizes, products and/services. Stay tuned for prize amounts – to be announced on WBB in the coming weeks.

If you’re not up for participating in the contest, you can still get a part of the action by becoming a sponsor. However, to maintain transparency and all fairness, sponsors will not be permitted to enter the contest.

    Totally OK, the funny thing is, I usually don’t even look at links, but today saw two wrong ones, here and another place.
    
    Anyway, I agree that the sponsors are awesome. Every single one is an awesome person. Gotta say Lisa Irby is to thank I am where I am, having a really nice blog and making cash online And Danny is one of my favorites!
    
    Well, Kiesha definitely deserves to be supported in this, she has to be one of the friendliest and nicest bloggers I know and I can’t wait to start promoting this contest.
