The Importance of Vitamin D3 During Pregnancy
It seems as though over the course of the past half-decade, increased odds of developing virtually every illness and disease under the sun have been linked to low levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (vitamin D3). Babies whose mothers lack vitamin D during pregnancy are nearly assured of being sickly, having a weak immune system rendering them vulnerable to a variety of diseases and conditions.

Due to its profound impact on the strength of the immune system, vitamin D is of particular importance during and throughout the course of a pregnancy because babies who do not receive adequate levels of this hormone are extremely vulnerable to developing dozens upon dozens of chronic conditions and illnesses, and are virtually assured of being sickly in general and having a shorter lifespan than children who received enough vitamin D3 while inside the womb.

One thing to keep in mind when reading this is that the list of diseases (linked to low maternal vitamin D during pregnancy) is growing rapidly and could potentially even double if scientists are given enough time…
