Local DME Firm Announced Auctions to Benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association
A DME (durable medical equipment) firm from Louisiana is helping to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Egan Medical, a Louisiana firm with a storefront in Covington (St. Tammany Parish), recently announced a series of auctions to be held on Ebay, the proceeds from which will be donated to MDA. For the record, 100% of the proceeds from these sales will go to benefit the non-profit. Egan plans to continue the effort indefinitely.

We went so far as to designate a category in the company’s storefront on Ebay specifically for auctions created in an effort to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
It’s a great cause, and those battling the disease inspire me personally more than they’ll ever know.
