Why Blog Interact is the Best Blogging Community
There are too many of everything: too many forums ~ too many blogging communities ~ too many social networks.
None of us can keep up with them all. I have learned over the years that what really matters are relationships.
Relationships are more important than how many followers you have, or how many retweets you get, or how much reach any particular link or tweet managed to show because none of those things generates ACTION – and ACTIONS are what have the power to change our lives for the better.
We can’t use or support everything – so we have to choose carefully and then get serious about focusing on the select few.
I have chosen BlogInteract as my blogging community.
Most of us are spreading ourselves too thin and trying to be active everywhere so we end up being ineffective and having superficial “relationships” that are little deeper than name and Avatar recognition.
What I want is to really know the people who – like me – want to make a difference. I invite anyone who wants to collaborate and support each other to join me in making BlogInteract our regular place to socialize and really connect.
Many of us have seen communities and forums we put our time and effort into go away – taking all that we have saved and shared with it. I taught AdWords and ppc at SearchEngineForums back when it was still co-brands JimWorld and something else I can’t remember. When I stopped writing about ppc few used that part of the forum any more. Years later the sticky posts and resources I created were still there, but now all that is gone.
I socialized at BloggerLuv and wrote posts there and recommended others join. Then it went away. While it did come back it can not thrive because once people don’t trust a site to stay live they just won’t support it.
We had a forum with 164 members in it that got hacked. All was lost because the site owner did not have staff who were familiar enough with security or how to restore from backups. It is slow going rebuilding that forum and much was lost that can not be recovered.
Many site owners will sell us all out for the lure of the almighty dollar – leaving us to maybe still have a viable community or maybe lose everything – even things we may have heavily invested in or paid to use.
Few are those whose hearts are in the right place who do what needs doing selflessly – and that leads me to Why BlogInteract.
Why BlogInteract is the BEST Blogging Community
Because I trust Bryan Hollis – that’s why. BlogInteract is “his baby” and he built it to benefit us and others – not to make a quick buck or to hound us for money constantly – or to flip it once the users build it into a place of value. Bryan knows security and backup processes so what we do here won’t disappear. He cares about others and believes in quality so he will take make sure the site works.
Nothing is guaranteed or forever – but I believe BlogInteract is the safest place for us to build our community and grow our relationships. In my book that makes BlogInteract the BEST blogging community. I hope you agree and will join me here.
My Invitation to You:
If you’re interested in collaborating, please send me a BlogInteract PM or add and contact me on Skype. (I’m the only growmap there so very easy to find.) If you want to learn how to send content viral, please join our private Viral Marketing Group.
