Submitting articles to directories can be a smart way to send very targeted traffic to your website and your offers. Article submission helps you build your standing as an expert in your chosen niche. Think over it: aren’t you more likely to believe in someone who has numerous articles published on a subject that you want to learn more about?
Wouldn’t you be a lot more likely to trust a person who has many articles published on the subject that you are shopping for or trying to learn about? Wouldn’t a person be more likely to buy from an individual if a Google search resulted in lots of quality results for the author and their topic or niche? You will make this happen on your own if you write and submit articles. More people are likely to discover your site if you have submitted a multitude of original, quality content articles distributed in numerous article directories.
It is important to be sure that your articles are well crafted before you start publishing them left and right. Everyone is capable of stringing together several sentences and hitting “publish”.
Article marketing isn’t just about making as many backlinks to your web page as you can. This is why you should never reduce yourself to uploading one article to a bunch of directories. Do some research and find out which article directories turn up in Google again and again and then submit your work to them. You need to make sure that your name is what people see when they search within your market or topic. You can easily raise your bottom line and send more traffic to your site this way.
There are several ways that one could build your business by writing articles. This is particularly true if those content articles are well written and indexed favorably by the major search engines. Sure you can distribute a hastily written article to every directory on the internet. But if you really want to get the attention you need (and the money you want to make) you can write a couple of well written articles and then send them to a couple of the most highly respected article directories online.
