Having been in the content rich industry for a number of years now, it is no secret that I started my journey as a freelance writer specializing in article marketing, press releases, sales letters and other forms of content, eventually transitioning into web content and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
The SEO took a bit of time and learning. I did this the old fashion way – on my own, using news from others, but mostly starting sites and experimenting. I have always been that type…one that experiments and sometimes breaks things before progress is made.
As I actually became rather proficient in my ability to land a client on page one for this or that almost like riding a bicycle…you know, second nature, I realized it would be beneficial to actually start my own website. I wanted to keep a blog format for sure, but also knew I needed a static, business-like landing page. I was really used to the strictly blog format with no static page, but knew that for SEO purposes, a static landing page was necessary. This is where I found the Neutrino Theme by Michal Wilkosinski of StudioMW.
I have since purchased many of Michal’s WordPress Themes over the years. There is a beauty of his design capabilities. The planning, the structure, the purpose, the coding….the sense of it all.
WordPress today is used for a variety of purposes. For the blogger, the Thesis Theme seems to be the most popular. In fact, I have two blogs running on Thesis. Am I happy with them? Certainly. They perform just fine. But there is just that something extra about the design and the thought / planning that goes into the very diverse themes and custom designs by Michal. The logic, the sensibility behind the design.
Many a WordPress Theme have I crossed in my day and many more will I have to use. I truly don’t believe there is a more logical thinking WordPress programmer in the world than Mr. Wilkosinski. It really hit me one day when I hired Michal to do some coding for me that I, of course, was not capable of doing. There was a pause in the job. I learned over my time getting to know Michal that there was always a genuine reason…not some lame excuse. I decided to ask him about this just out of curiosity. I will not direct quote, as I can only recall the basic gist of the response. He basically took some time to re-examine the task and decide what was the most user-friendly way to approach this. What was going to be sustainable with WordPress updates, and….bottom line…what made logical sense.
I know that most WordPress developers try and attempt this, and to all WordPress developers out there, “Thank you for all of your work.” You are all talented and bring great benefit to those – including myself – that depend on you each and every day. Whether it is a plug-in or theme, you ladies and gents do a great service for us all.
Before I go, I know it is no secret that Michal Wilkosinski was the designer and developer of Blog Interact, and that he has helped me with the site over its’ year or so of existence. I also want to be clear that this is strictly a review of who I know – hands down – is the most talented WordPress programmer in this world. I have no affiliation with or incentive(s) to write this post other than to say, “Thanks Michal”.
Look for more great things to come from this most talented WordPress developer.

I’m not exactly lacking in IQ, but I really admire programmers in particular because that stuff (and I speak as someone who has made at least some effort to learn it) is so far over my head it would take light years for me to figure out how it all works, much less how to actually go about doing it.
